Monte Broeckelman, CPA Managing Shareholder
Monte is the managing shareholder of Broeckelman & Associates, P.C., and brings over 30 years of extensive experience in both public and private accounting. In December 2017, he acquired Muxfeldt Associates, CPA, P.C., further expanding his expertise and leadership in the accounting profession.
A graduate of Fort Hays State University in Hays, Kansas, Monte earned his Bachelor of Arts in Accounting before becoming a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in 1996. Monte’s career spans over two decades in public accounting and auditing, alongside a decade in the private sector, where he served as Chief Financial Officer for two major agricultural cooperatives in Kansas. This dual experience has equipped him with a comprehensive understanding of financial management and strategic business planning.
An active member of the professional community, Monte is affiliated with the Iowa Society of CPAs, the Kansas Society of CPAs, and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). He is licensed to practice in both Iowa and Kansas.
Matthew D. Andersen, Staff Accountant
Matt joined our firm as a staff accountant, bringing over 14 years of experience in public accounting. A 2010 graduate of Iowa State University, he earned his Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and has developed a strong reputation for precision and dedication in tax planning advisory, business and individual tax preparation, and auditing.

Christie brings over 25 years of accounting expertise to our team, with a specialized focus on payroll preparation, payroll tax reporting, client write-ups, and QuickBooks. Barbara A. Buhman, Administrative Assistant (Semi Retired)
Barb is the administrative assistant at Broeckelman & Associates, P.C., bringing over 30 years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on payroll preparation and client write-up. Since January 2017, Barb has semi-retired.

Gina, Co-Owner of Broeckelman & Associates, P.C., brings over 25 years of experience in managing professional offices to her role as Office Manager. She oversees the day-to-day operations of the business, ensuring seamless functionality and efficiency in all aspects of the firm.
